Another toss-up tonight. It's either

I want an America that relies on its own ingenuity and innovation – not the Saudi royal family.

or

What if we have a president who believes in science, so we can unleash the wonders of discovery like stem cell research to treat illness and save millions of lives?

UPDATE: I can't seem to get this Thomas Dolby tune out of my head.

The first one seems to be the big winner. Expect Bush to adjust his platform to reflect that one.

Unfortunately, the gathering I was at tonight heckled everything that Kerry said, so it was pretty hard to follow. On the lighter side, the USA Today editor who had eventually canned Ann Coulter was there, and I got a chance to ask him about what really happened.

An educational evening, just not the way I planned it.

I dunno. I kinda like the science one.

Boy, I guess our requirements for president have sunk pretty low when we have to choose between a candidate who believes in science and one who doesn't.
