That is top of the heap in stupid Malkin articles. It's not alarming to gesture madly and keep calling the air marshals over? On what planet?

The funny thing is, on a number of issues Right really does meet Left. Hysteria is not something to aspire to, and at some point Jacobsen as well as Malkin need to understand they are adding to unnecessary panic, not right action.

That being said, the language of the 9.11 report could easily lead to the same kind of race-bating that we experienced in WWII. For instance, they correct the language of "War on Terror" but put it as "War on Islamic Terrorist Groups." Action over inaction is stressed. It's not hard to do the math on where this could go.

One interesting thing to note is that Bush hasn't used the expression "War on Terror" recently. That's been replaced by "America is safer." I'm still trying to understand how this is going to play out.

"there are some elements of the Right that have gone completely mad."

Heh. Careful, Rox.

You surely don't mean to suggest any possibility that some elements of the Right have NOT gone completely mad. :)
