I just love that Heretik, though I know he has been known to lurk in disguise now and again, girlfriend.

Hmm, interesting. If they're voiceless, can they truly give a shout?
Posted by: Shawn | 31 March 2005 at 10:12
heretofore "voiceless"

My name is Shiny, and this is my blog comment.
I hope you find it stimulating and provocative.

Lurkless seeking same.

I thought you weren't blogging here anymore. Wait. No, that was me. I wasn't blogging somewhere anymore--but then I was. Modern life--so confusing.

Yeah, yeah, OK. Hi.

delurkifying with a caption post nomination.
Posted by: mats | 31 March 2005 at 12:35
I haven't been lurking. I prefer to think of it as mingling with humility.

This is Agitprop giving a shout out to Rox Populi for her fine work during International Blog Comment Week.
Posted by: Agitprop | 31 March 2005 at 13:05
Well, I haven't said anything in a while. Does that count?
Posted by: Astarte | 31 March 2005 at 13:15
Lurking isn't the same as stalking, is it?
Posted by: Jennifer | 31 March 2005 at 14:10
It's not stalking if you have a camera...

Okay, I'm no lurker, but this seems an appropriate enough place to mention I just saw your comment, Rox, over at Yglesias' place: I would like to think that women and men both would be judged, not by the make-up of their chromosomes, but by the content of their character.
LOL. Long has it been since I've read such a dry statement that encapsulated disdain, resignation, incredulity, impatience, matter-of-factness, snark, a touch of arrogance, and a dash of hope all in one. Very nice. Loved it. :)

Hello, there. Consider me delurked, then.
Posted by: OTTami | 31 March 2005 at 15:36
I can't de-lurk, I can only "surface." It is my nature. Thank you for blogging, you give us all hope for greater openness - and the MSM doesn't seem to be carrying a torch for openness anymore, at least not the political kind, unless it's to burn it down.

Hi.
I don't know if I qualify as a lurker since I've commented at least once, but my posting is infrequent to say the least. But I do read most days, commenting when my outrage excedes my ability to contain it...outrage at the idiots, not you of course.
Posted by: WookieMonster | 31 March 2005 at 16:27
I'm another infrequent commenter rather than a lurker, but I am shouting out as ordered, ma'am.
Posted by: Christie | 31 March 2005 at 17:54
This is the self-referential sentence that announces my de-lurking. This is the sentence that thanks Roxanne for the inspiring articles and inspired wit. And this is the first sentence of the comment, though it appears to have been misplaced.
