Do you think that's because he thinks the song has something to do with Israel?

» iPod Therefore iAm from Agitprop: Or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Propaganda
Agitprop advocates the formation of a joint task force to help President Bush fill his iPod. In light of the recent news that President Bush's iPod is filled with mainly 1970's corporate-rock songs and cheesy country ballads, it is our [Read More]

If he listened to Abba, would that indicate his support of Mahmoud Abbas?

Rox,
I found the real I-Pod playlist that Bush and Cheney have been listening to:
Radiohead 2+2=5
Black Sabbath War Pigs
Dead Kennedys Kill the Poor
Bad Religion The Empire Strikes First
Bob Dylan Masters of War
Norman Greenbaum Spirit in the Sky
Green Day American Idiot
Outkast Bombs Over Baghdad

My guess is that Bright Eyes' "When the President Talks to God" is not on the list. I've actually got a little game going on at Axis of Evel Knievel. The Bumiller piece noted that Bush only has 250 songs (out of a possible 10,000) on his iPod, so I'm soliciting recommendations to send on a CD to Bush's personal aide, who takes care of downloading music for Bush, buttoning his shirts, and cutting the crusts off his PB&J sammiches.
I'm also going to include a folder of Jeff Gannon's most alluring pictures. Just in case he's got an iPod Photo.

I say we send him some audiobooks on history and leadership. Maybe something on more current events. I have some Thomas Friedman I could forward to him

Wait a minute - MAINLY purchased via ITunes?
Shouldn't we demand a multi-million dollar investigation to see if the President is stealing intellectual property? We could call it WhiteNoiseWater or something.

He should have "Every Breath You Take" by The Police on his iPod. It would suit him.

I'm concerned with his choice of My Sharona, as everyone knows that it's the one song which is played over and over and over again at Janet Reno's Dance Party. How's that for bipartisanship?

'(He most certainly does not have Fogerty's song "Fortunate Son.") '
I haven't seen the pick-up truck ad in a while that uses a thoroughly butchered version of the song. They cut the "It ain't me!"s from it. They try to make it sound like jinoistic super-patriot nonsense.
John Fogherty was prescient in writing "Fortunate Son" about W.

Seamus -
I admit Bush would like "America We Stand on One".
But his inner heart really desires America, Fuck Yeah!
