If I See One More Koran “Mishandling” Story……I just might buy a few to kick around myself. The madness has gone far enough. The West is too darn “civilized” for its own good. We’re teetering on the edge, ready to take a suicidal leap, just to show the world how “compassionate” and “tolerant” we are.
Despite what they may say, Muslims are and have always been on a mission to conquer and kill infidels. They’ve been doing it for centuries and will continue until we’re all dead, they’re all dead, or the world ends, whichever comes first. We need to get over ourselves and focus on stopping the spread of Islamofacism. Period. Save civility and Koran “handling” for less perilous times.
Allah couldn’t have a better spokesperson than a typical American journalist.

I always thought "penis envy" was a concept that made more sense for men, anyway. I don't want a penis of any size. However, some men envy those that have bigger ones.

A lot of missing the point on the Koran story I fear.
The real story here isn't whether or not someone let loose on the Koran. Hell, the American flag is burned or pissed on somewhere in the world every five minutes so what are we to make of that?
The REAL story here is that Newsweek reported these incidents as fact and the White House along with the Vast Right Wing Noise Machine made them eat shit, apologise, and promise never to write anything like that ever again. And Newsweek capitulated! Now THERE is the story.
The loss of freedom of the press by Rightwing thugs. That is "the issue" that should have us all concerned. The fact that Newsweek was right and they were bullied into submission and forced to publically confess their thought crimes. That should have us all terrified.

Another missed point is her idea that people are prostrating themselves before Islamofacists. Does she really think that places like Guantanamo, Bagram and Abu Ghraib represent our efforts to placate terrorists?
Also, it should go without saying but can't, who are the people there? ARE THEY terrorists? What have they done? Why are they being detained? Why aren't they being charged with something? Why, when no one knows who they are, is this twerp so angry at them?
Why are they all so angry at the rest of the world?
