Yeah, I was There
I don't enjoy protest rallies. The organizers and many of usual suspects are fringe and their tired antics and useless rhetoric no longer speak to me. But, given that yesterday's event was right down the road and it afforded me a chance to meet up with some bloggers, I decided to go.
I'm glad I did.
Contrary to reports from the Parrotsphere (from people who were not there), most folks I saw and marched with were just ordinary Americans who've simply had enough of the Incompetence Presidency.
Linky broky.

your site used to be alot cooler by the way.

Isn't it great to get detailed, precise and constructive criticism?

wWll she used to post alot of stuff criticizing corporate media, but lately it's been almost purely political. Personally, I think google news has been really crappy lately.

If you don't like what you find here, feel free to leave.

I used to be a lot cooler too. The whole damn world used to be so much cooler. And we all had so much class.
Anyway, I was there too and really wanted to find you and Maha but it's hard to find too many people in a crowd of half a million. I'll be posting my very valuable - although slightly less cool - impressions and the names of the bloggers I was lucky enough to find later. Suffering post-march let down right now and busy wondering if the plumbers, who are here to do some work, are ripping me off. Is it a good or bad sign that they have KBR patches on their shirts?

Don't be fooled by eRobins comment, she's plenty cool.
Sorry I missed folks at the Corner Bakery. I got there around 9:45, figuring that late was better than never. Ah, well.
Having been to very few protests, I don't have much to compare it to. The last one I was at was in Boston- I caught Ashcroft as he was coming out of Fanneuil hall and managed to call him a traitor as he was wisked off in his bulletproof SUV. So that was kinda fun.
Hopefully there will be other events in the future where those of us in the lefty blogosphere can meet and greet.

I wish I was as cool as Roxanne or eRobin.

Wish this "ordinary American" could have been there. Last one I went to was the one supporting reproductive rights. Hundreds of thousands of people went nearly silent when Hillary spoke. What is it about her? She is a war hawk!

I wonder if Anik is Armando in disguise?

Wow! Wish I could have been there!
I was particularly tickled to read that the pro-war demonstration drew only 400 people.
