SuperShuttle Sucks
You know what's wrong with America? That the fuckers at SuperShuttle can think it's okay to call me at 2 am (an hour before my scheduled pick-up) to explain that they aren't going to be able to pick me up. And that I won't be charged (uh, but they charged me already) and that I should call a cab. And that I should write down some dude's fax number so that some day SuperShuttle will reimburse me for the cab, knowing that 9 out of 10 people will never go through the trouble of getting their refund from fucked-up SuperShuttle.
When my brother went to China last summer, a SuperShuttle (I think, might have been another company) was supposed to take him and the rest of his group to the airport. We waited around for a while, but when the van was 45 minutes late, I decided to drive them to the airport myself, speeding all the while. Fortunately they made it in time. Also fortunately, we had not paid for the shuttle in advance, so no needing to deal with getting refunds. Not the kind of service I'm going to rely on in the future.

I've always hated SuperSHuttle-type services. It's like "leave 9 hours early, save eight bucks!" Ugh.

you should have gone with batshuttle. it doesn't have any real superpowers, but there's always robinshuttle to cover its ass when it fails to come through

SuperShuttle was one of my wife's clients. They're not anymore. I could tell you stories.

I was stood up at Oakland Airport by that crappy ass company. After being on hold for about a half hour, the phone rep said that there wouldn't be any shuttles that day and that I should find a cab.

Super shuttle will always refund pax that dont follow directions and/or dont read the fine print. It is a multi million $$ company and a fare that ranges from about $6.00-$150.00 dependind what service you would like does not make a dent in their pocket, at all. They hand out more money to people crying about something they fucked up with in one day then most people spend in food for the year. For every comment made on this site I can see where the pax did not follow directions, And if you have the internet then you would have read the directions while booking your reservation, PEOPLE ARE TO SENSITIVE AND BITCH WHEN THE DONT GET THEIR WAY somewhere in life they found out that will aid in them getting what ever they want.

I flew in to Newark last night and had made the mistake of jumping on a Super Shuttle van. I won't get into the details, so I'll sum up my experience with this:
The drive from Newark into Manhattan is usually 25 minutes, but our "experienced" and "professional" driver managed to get lost in New Jersey for an hour and a half. The driver got all pissy and offended when we suggested he was lost - how dare we question his skills! After the passengers (that would be us, the customers), were fed up with the New Jersey sightseeing tour, we made it to Manhattan - but only because one of the passengers called her New Jersey-street-savvy-husband who instructed us how to drive there. When we arrived at the first drop-off, half of us jumped out and asked for our money back because we were going to take cabs home - this is when the driver completely lost it. He freaked out and started threatening us...so what does a New Yorker do? We called the NYPD. We were all able to get our luggage back and get the hell out of there once when the cops arrived; but we unfortunately were instructed to pay up.
So now I'm waiting for a refund from the kind folks at Super Shuttle. Man, I can't wait to use this service again!

Booked in advance - told to be ready between 6 - 6:15, was finally picked up at 7.
Another passanger in Van was booked @ 5:15, picked up @ 6:30 - she was within walking distance of our location - driver took 30 min to find us!!! Manhattan is NOT dificult - simple grid system. They are supposed to be professionals. She got to airport with only 90 min to flight. This was on Fri after London Terror threat - All over media to be @ airport 3 hours before flight.
Then, the driver looked for big tip for getting us to airport quickly - Being former NY'er I knew he took the wrong exit for airport!!
Spend more money - Use different service - Supershuttle NOT WORTH IT.

fuck you fuckers, dont speak for all the super shuttle drivers here... im one of the best drivers out there..nomatter what happens, we'll get you there...and it depends on who dispatching your pick up too, sometimes they fucked up and angry passengers get mad at us...even from the airport, the landside sometime put the wrong people on board, by that i mean people not routed to go my direstions...get a shuttle that has GPS systems in there, these guys that been working for years dont even need one, but they're professionals. better drivers then taxi cabs. i know cuz i was one a taxi driver. There's more to Super Shuttle then you think. trust me you fucking whinning bitch!!!

What bastards. Got on at NY La Guardia Jan 30th 2008, and the driver loaded my bag. Got to the hotel and the bag was missing. What a scam. Super Shuttle did nothing. No phone call, no apology and no compensation. Will never use them again and hope you dont either.

i was supposed to be picked up by Super Shuttle for my flight from manhattan to laguardia airport at 2:40 AM. exactly one hour before the pickup time, we got a call from an extremely rude dispatcher saying that the van had broken down and we needed to find alternative transportation. I am not from manhattan and this basically amounted to being abandoned with few options (other than wandering the streets to find a cab at 2 AM). PATHETIC!!!
